Very good service and quick repairs! The best automotive shop in town! Good price! Open 7days a week! Very kind they will explain the work that needs to be done!

This is the trusted place for me during the past 15 years and I still trust them to take care of our cars' smog tests and other needed repairs.

Not a 1-star rating because the father was very nice and helpful. Other than that, I really was hoping that I'd found a good, reliable, family-owned business I could support. I needed an alignment done today and they happened to be open today, which was extremely convenient for me. But I wish I'd read the reviews and tried to go somewhere else. Prior to taking our car here, we checked that this place was on our Car Care credit list of service providers. They have Napa signage and the credit site lists them. No mistakes about that. But apparently, they couldn't accept the card. I had a backup plan to use another card, which I didn't want to have to use, but I was forced to. Hastily, at that. Now, in most situations, I wouldn't be upset over this. I wasn't going to throw a fit about this card not working, despite the inconvenience it presented me. What's upsetting is how the son, operating the desk, treated me. When we had called to see if they were open, they warned us they would be closing at 1 o'clock for a family function. That's fine, because everything went down well before 1 o'clock. He was not happy that I was keeping him later than he had to be there - a whole 5 minutes past when the customer before me finished paying - but it still wasn't even 1 o'clock and I was prepared to only give the card one more shot as I had the credit company on the line to see what the issue may have been. I spent no longer than ten minutes on the phone with the credit company trying to figure out the issue. The son was so pushy and so rude to me about it that it really just made the whole situation unpleasant. He talked down to me ("take it from me, like an older brother" - uh, no thank you, patronizing me is not helping this situation), and as evident from other reviews, apparently that's a pattern. He spoke rudely to his father, interrupted me on the phone, chided me for not just using my other credit card right away, and then had the gall to tell me to see it from his perspective. Hey, what about my perspective? This was all in the span of ten minutes, and well before the closing time he cited. It's not like I was taking up his whole afternoon. Of course I did not want to disturb this man's plans, and of course I wanted to get out of his hair as quickly as possible, but I did need to try to exercise this option before going with my other card. More than anything, the way he talked to me was unnecessary. I was hurrying the people on the phone along the best I could and it was certainly before the closing time he gave me on the phone. I am sorry I didn't have the correct information; but a little bit of patience goes a long way, and this guy did not have that patience. I was very stressed by this inconvenience and I don't feel that it was a situation that warranted belittling me; no good customer service comes out of something like this. So, if you're reading this, mechanic dad: your son needs to look to you for your kindness and patience. I'd be willing to bet he's why some of these negative reviews are happening.

$40 cash to get a driver’s side mirror installed...called other places and the best I could get was 97. On top of that he only took 20 minutes or so. Very very satisfied

This place is great! So glad I took a chance and tried them for my smog certification. Now I have them doing the oil and tranny service. Excellent customer service, friendly and so helpful. And my husband is a mechanic!

Great family that owns and runs the place. Been here forever. They do great work and are honest. Not the cheapest place in town but trustworthy, honest, and will do the job correctly and won't try to sell you maint you don't need. I know cars and engines and these guys are spot on and honest. Would definitely reccommend.

I took my vehicle in during a brief trip to SD and encountered a tire warning light during the drive after having left the Nissan dealership. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. After reviewing the issue, turns out the Nissan dealership staff neglected to reset the maintenance light. Speedy quickly resolved the matter at no charge.

HONEST SERVICE BUT... trying to make me make purchases without the need. ... driving on a donut is NOT CUTE. SITUATION. Driving from the hwy 8 to the i-5 and hit a something which busted and dented the inner part of my upper right rim (pretty badly). I could barely drive my car and it was making this nasty metal to metal sound per car wheel cycle. These were my options. 1) Call progressive roadside assistance to help me get to a shop [could take up to 1-2hrs] 2) Locate the closest car shop still open and attempt to drive 3mph. LUCKILY there was guy in my passenger seat who knows cars and we chose the ladder. THE SHOP. This was the closest car shop open to my location near Little Italy. They charged me $90 for inspection only - take off the wheel to check if there was any damage. And NO damage to the brakes, disc brake hub, or any other major car parts - the inner rim was so badly damaged and the bent part was rubbing on another part but didn't damage anything. The only replacement was only a rim with attempts to salvage the wheel. However this place wasn't a true wheel shop but they could order if need be. THE PROBLEM. We know the problem, only need to replace that ONE rim. Test the tire on the new rim to salvage the wheel, if not buy new wheel too. Then get an alignment. They were honest with telling me there's no damage and what needs to be done. However they continued to try to get more service, we can replace yours wheels (which wasn't necessary at this time), they showed me a nail in a wheel (but the nail isn't causing any air leak... nails are always in wheels but doesn't mean you need to buy a tire if it's not leaking), they wanted to order the rim for me and etc (not picky on a rim because I have hub caps that cover the rim), they proceed to tell me my hub caps are crooked (hub caps don't have to be perfect and nothing was wrong with my hub caps). Again, luckily a guy was with me and intercepted the conversation and pulled me aside and said it's easy to get rim for cheap and we don't have to order with them. My dad was a mechanic so when car shop guys try to "sale" to me I'm a bit smarter than the average chick. And when a guy goes to a car shop with a women, a women doesn't get taken advantage off as much. Overall kudos quickly identifying the initial issue and helping me out. Other than that, I will take my car elsewhere. Until the next review....

I liked the Father and Son that run the shop and they stood by their word. They did forget to turn one of my check engine lights off after working on my car. I need to take it back tomorrow.
