Came to get a smog for yearly inspection. Quoted me 160$$!!! I left and called around. Went to Aztec in Santee, 70$$!! This place is dishonest, go inland for better workers/ prices.

Our son's truck had a check engine light on so we brought it to Sam here at Speedy Auto Repair. It is an older Tundra so there were multiple things wrong with it. We got new brakes, drums, spark plugs, radiator, an alignment and a whole lot more and the work was done with great attention to detail and we got the truck back very quickly. Sam was constantly updating us on progress and even showed us all the old parts that were severely worn out and dangerous. We also believe the pricing was very fair too. So much work was done. We definitely recommend Speedy Auto Repair and we will use them again in the future!

Great experience. I first called for availability and found out there was an opening at that time. I drove over and it was probably 20-30 minutes from parking to paying. They were professional and the price was fair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a smog check.

Went here for a smog check on a truck I had just bought out of state. Apparently it failed. The owner didn’t ask any questions to potentially diagnose the problem. Instead he insisted it’s not a simple thing to solve and I’d need to pay for a $200 diagnosis! Ohh and if I didn’t pay for diagnosis/repairs, the retest isn’t free….absolutely laughable. In a 10 second google search i discovered that disconnecting the battery resets the systems, which leads to a failed smog. Completing a simple drive cycle (free) will fix the problem. Their staff purposely misleads unsuspecting customers into paying for work, instead of asking a simple question: “has your battery died or been disconnected recently?”. If they say something is NECESSARY, get a second opinion or do your own research online.

Everyone was great! I came in for a smog recertification. They showed me my vacuum hoses, they were in really bad shape and needed to be replaced. The new vacuum lines made for a very smooth ride and I passed smog! A win-win! I will be back!!!
