I was visiting San Diego & luckily for me, Speedy was around the corner from my hotel when my car stalled out. I had no idea what was wrong & I had a long drive home ahead of me. Dany had me come right in and immediately assessed the situation. I needed an oil change even though I had one just a month ago. I was on my way in 20 minutes & really appreciated the great customer service & advice.

This place quoted me $175.00 FOR A JOB I HAD DONE at another mechanic FOR $84.00 84+84=🤔💲 IT doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out😲y

The gentleman who owns this place is very kind and honest. I got a smog check done. I was very happy with his and his son’s interaction. Requested an estimate for my upcoming scheduled maintenance. Instead going based on dealer rates, he stated that he gives an estimate only after checking the car. Because he’d work only on what’s necessary. I like this approach.

Came for a smog test and they got right on it and were very personable….a good 😊 experience

Have used this shop for years and today’s service was as usual quick and courteous. The cost is significantly less than my dealership. Today they were very busy but still took the time to explain what was needed and why.

Excellent care and attention on time

I went in for a SMOG check and it failed, it was a simple fix that was a computer issue - my car runs smoothly and has no issues. I was charged with a SMOG check and an extra $580 for them to take 2 days to basically spray something on a car part. Sam referred to me as “honey” and his communication was very condescending. I received quotes from Marina SMOG nearby for the same repair, and they would have charged me $105. Completely ripped off. They definitely GOT me on this one, don’t agree to their crazy prices until you get quotes elsewhere. Also, SMOG Oasis in OB will do a check for you and if it fails they won’t charge you. Sam would have happily charged me for a failed SMOG check if I didn’t fork over $580 for an easy fix
