San Diego auto repair

My wife and I were on a road trip when our car broke down in San Diego, on a Saturday. Speedy was one of the few places open on a Saturday, so we had our car towed there. Speedy was able to get the parts and have our car repaired by the end of the day on Monday, so we could continue on our road trip as soon as possible. Eight days and 1899 miles later, we made it home without having any more issues with our car. Thank you Speedy Auto Repair & Smog for the awesome job of repairing our car and for getting us back on the road quickly!

Ive been going here for almost 8 years. Ive taken every each car that Ive owned. I trust them fully with my car. I would totally recommend for anyone to come and do their car services there theyre amazing. Theyre really friendly what I love. Its a family business and we got to support our local small business businesses.

The technician was fast and service was good. I should have asked up front what the cost of a smog check is because my heart jumped a bit when after he’d already done the service, he said the bill was $129.00. In what world does a smog check cost that much? Everywhere else is between $50-80. I gave 3 stars for the service, but this place price gouges big time. Don’t get your car smog checked here.

2001 Nissan ExTerra had mysterious electrical problem that they traced and fixed. Also they did major deferred maintenance on the engine. The work was fast, excellent, and fairly priced, including labor for some small items not charged. Sam explained the work, showed all removed parts and why they failed. Then he pointed to all the new parts in the engine compartment and that they were all genuine Nissan brand. Highly recommended!

Excellent service! This is a family owned business. The guys are friendly knowledgeable and quick. So happy that I found this garage. I went there for a smog and now I bring my cars there for repairs.
